when you feel that your ship is sinking,
take heart
if you live within the circle of God's will,
then you will always have God's protection.
you have nothing to fear
your ship might indeed sink,
but you will not drown

i felt exactly the same way last sunday, pat (about going to church and be moved by the readings and the sermon).
and every time i am at mass, i am reminded at how beautiful this faith is, how meaningful the ceremonies are, and yes, how relevant the Bible still is. =)
