the road to fabulous

weights

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

i'm adding weight training to my exercise regimen this week.

since i'll be adding fruits to my diet, i need to make sure i don't stop losing weight. the best way to increase my metabolism is to do weight training, so i'm taking out my dumbells from their storage.

i still wish i had a gym to go to, with a personal trainer. but who needs that when you have willpower and resolve, right? =)

Got to give you tons of credit for your will power. I am lazy to exercise although choosing the stairways instead of the escalator or elevator in between our floors seems normal to me now.

i read about NEAT - non-exercise activity something. (oh my goodness, what happened to my memory?) they say that all these things we do that expend energy - including fidgeting-can also make us lose weight.

i'm still a bit lazy. i should really go back to pilates but i have so many excuses.

oh, i know what you mean myra! i have the same problem when i'm pmsing, i can't seem to stop snacking!! arrrgh! that's when i make the baked eggplant bites. or i make baked zucchini rounds. it takes every ounce of my willpower and more to stop myself from raiding vito's side of the pantry - where all the good stuff is hidden!

hi, it's ok even if you don't have a regular gym and an instructor. to tell you the truth, it's boring to go to the gym and having someone tell you what to do, even whenyou feel like you are going to faint already just so you can finish the routine given!!

power walk along the beach or park or at the mall is still the best and not boring at all, the nature, people watching, the touch of the wind on your face is alot better than AC!!
